Childhood Memories
Childhood Memories
Everyone has a few
memories from their childhood that seem so vividly true that we cling onto them
and believe that every single little detail of this memory is completely true.
Everything is different when you're a child: the trees are higher,
the colours are brighter, and every new day is more interesting that the last.
Even more importantly, some things happen that stay in our memory for a long
time - in fact, sometimes they end up being with us forever.
For those who remember those
moments from their childhood, Bright Side collected the
following beautiful anecdotes - from the amusing to the sublime and touching.
Memories are a vital component of our bodies. They shape our personality as all our knowledge and past experiences are stored there. All of us have memories, both good and bad. You have memories from long ago and also from recent times. Furthermore, some memories help us get by tough days and make us cheerful on good days.
People who have
fond memories of childhood, specifically their relationships with their
parents, tend to have better health, less depression and fewer chronic
illnesses as older adults, according to research published by the American
Psychological Association.
“We know that
memory plays a huge part in how we make sense of the world — how we organize
our past experiences and how we judge how we should act in the future. As a
result, there are a lot of different ways that our memories of the past can
guide us,” said William J. Chopik, PhD, from Michigan State University and lead
author of the study. “We found that good memories seem to have a positive
effect on health and well-being, possibly through the ways that they reduce
stress or help us maintain healthy choices in life.”
So here I have written something for childhood memories. I hope you will like it:
